Music Ministry

MUSIC MINISTRY PURPOSE

Music has always played an important role in the worship of God’s people. The purpose of the Music Ministry is to share the gospel of Jesus Christ through song, encourage believers in their walk with Christ, lead the congregation in worship and provide an avenue through which individuals may share their gift and be an integral part of the worship service. The Music Ministry spreads the Word of God through music experiences. The Music Ministry also enables choir members to grow spiritually by committing their time and talents to God. The Music Ministry provides worship music for assigned church worship services and special services outside of the church.

MUSIC MINISTRY MISSION

The Music Ministry of TRUFAM is a diverse ministry that enhances the worship service as well as merge and discipline our talents in order to worship God more effectively. The ministry presents a variety of music to include: Traditional Gospel, Hymns, Contemporary Gospel, and Praise and Worship.

Our Invitation

For those who have vocal or instrumental talent, our church offers expanding areas for involvement and participation. You are invited to be a part of any of the musical ministries that suit your talent. We believe that it is important for you to have the opportunity to minister to others through your music. The worship services of our church are the primary focus of our music ministry.

Psalm 34 1-3

I will bless the Lord at all times;

His praise shall continually be in my mouth.
2 My soul shall make its boast in the Lord;
The humble shall hear of it and be glad.
3 Oh, magnify the Lord with me,
And let us exalt His name together.
